BLOG 2 - The Best Holidays or Concert You Have Been To

 Last summer's holiday I could classify as one of the best, as I had never had the opportunity to visit Puerto Montt and its surroundings. 

It all started when my mum told me that she wanted to go to the south, south of Chile, but I wasn't totally convinced, I just knew that I really wanted to go to Puerto Montt. At that moment I got motivated, and I started to find out about different places to stay, places to go sightseeing and for how long. Basically I started to plan the holiday. 

When I had the whole plan ready, I showed it to my mum, and at that point she got motivated and wanted to go. So the tickets were to Puerto Montt, and the most exciting thing was that it was just the two of us going. 

We stayed for a whole week, in which we toured Puerto Montt on our own, but then we bought guide plans that allowed us to go and see Chiloé. We spent a full day touring Ancud, Castro, Dalcahue and Chacao. The truth is that I fell in love with Chiloé, my perception was that it was a very magical and unique place in many ways.

The following days we visited Puerto Varas, Ensenada, Petrohué and Lago de Todos los Santos, some small lakes and Frutillar. I really enjoyed touring all these places around Lago Llanquihue, and I also enjoyed eating everything that came my way (well, not everything because I am a vegetarian).

Anyway, obviously I have to go again to visit many places that were left pending, so I hope soon to have the opportunity to grab my suitcase and go.
